From a young age I have been involved in music since primary school. Classically trained on the flute and moving over to guitar and subsequently teaching the instrument. From that, various paths opened up to where bands would feature prominently throughout the years and regular gigging would take place including recording the occasional EP with my former band.
Following the years of teaching guitar and live gigs, music and the creative arts would continue to play a key roll in life. A diploma in a related field would provide the career focus on recording and technical aspects in music, thus I obtained the job as performing arts technician at a secondary school, passing on knowledge with students and helping them pass their qualifications.
I then went on to increase my understanding of studio and live production further, studying a BSc (Hons), achieving a 1st class degree. Following the course where I gained extensive knowledge on a variety of tools, software and hardware for production, I decided to focus primarily on mastering and setup ADDAC Mastering Services.
